Headset key to be ON in OS40 phones

I have Hipath 4000 V7 with openstage 40 phones. The phones have headsets connected and working when the headset key is pressed. The handset works fine too.
I wish that the headset key stays ON by default as the headset is the primary source of receiving the calls and not the handset.
Any suggestion, please advise.

With a headset connected, if you start dialing an outgoing call, it will automatically go to the headset. Answering a call can be done by either, depending on if you hit the headset button or pickup the handset. Beyond that, there is the option to automatically answer incoming calls via the headset, but I'm not certain you want that behavior. What's the end result you're looking for?
