Customer has a MICS with 7.1SW. They recently had to downgrade from a BCM to a MICS due to the BCM's hard drive crashing. They are trying to reuse their headsets, but when they plug the headset in and press the headset button, they get a message that reads "need headset".

Probably says "Need Handsfree". Turn it on in programming.

You will see the "need headset" if there is no headset plugged in or if it's a cordless, it will always say that. With a cordless the handset must be off hook.

Handsfree makes more sense. I'm going by what the customer told me, they may have misread. Thanks.
