We have a home agent, using a 9650 phone via Meraki router, who is experiencing major interference when using the headset (HIS Cord, Plantronics headset). She has no issue if using the handset or speaker, only the headset. We've ran the gamut of getting new cable service, new phone, new Meraki, moved her to her cable modem, replaced the headset, provided a wireless headset... we've run out of ideas.
Comcast came out and alleges there is no electrical interference with their cable drop.
