I just put a Plantronics H41N headset on the receptionist's 4424LD+ and everything works great (had to program the Headset Hangup and Headset Status buttons on the phone) however the receptionist is not liking the fact that she has to manually press the line buttons as the inbound calls come in. She says that she liked the fact that when a call came inbound (or by transfer return) that she simply picked up the handset. Is there perhpas a button that can be programmed to automatically hit it and answer the call ringing her phone? I discused the option of having the headset auto-answer however she is not comfortable with having it auto-answer because this person has alot of customers potentially standing at her desk. The biggest issue that she explains is the transfer returns and not knowing which button she should be hitting as other inbound calls are coming inbound at the same time whereas with the handset - she simply picked it up to answer and could identify based on the lights on the phone. I guess if there was some sort of "pickup/answer" button that she could hit every time to answer a call in the proper order?
