Anyone know how to apply a Header but not a footer to a specific page in a MS Word 2000 document. At the moment whenever I apply a header and a footer to one page it applys it to them all. I want the majority of pages to have both but selected pages to just have a header.

Any help would be appreciated.....

Hi,

Changes in Header/Footer can be controled by inserting Section Breaks and then setting or not setting the "same as previous" switch in the Header/Footer Toolbar.

You have to use sections. Go to the end of the page, before the one that you want to have a different header or footer, and insert a section break > Insert > Break > Section break (decide which type you want). This then makes the sections unlinked. Now go to the header/footer of the page that you want different and take off the 'same as previous' option that is on the toolbar (this will be on by default). Now you can alter the page to suit without affecting the pages before.

Repeat this process for any further pages.
