Header Margin Differnt than Body Margin

I want the header left margin to be 1/4 inch and the body of the text to be 1 inch.

How do I do that? When I change the margin it changes the margin for the header, even though I select the option for "this point forward".

Move the left indent to left, it can be within left margin too.

I was looking for something a little more eloquent than moving the indent every time I wanted to create a new paragraph.
