i recently set up header files to be used with my directory indexes. i have several directories each with its own header.html file. these files show up in the indexes just fine in every directory but two. in these two directories, i get a "this page cannot be displayed" error when i try to view that directory index. the only thing i can think of that sets these two directories apart is that they are much larger than the others. they both contain over 400MB of files. while the others all contain less than 400MB.

If i delete the header.html file from one of these directories, than the directory will display fine (but without the header file, of course). However as soon as i put the header.html file back into either of these directories, they wont display again. This only happens in the two that are 400MB+.

Again, the header.html file displays on every directory EXCEPT two, each of which have more than 400MB of files in them. All the header.html files are exactly alike in every directory. This sounds very strange and I cannot figure it out.

if there is any info that you might need in order to help me that i didnt mention here, please ask for it and i will try to post it for you.

Hi,

Doesn't make much sense. I could only suggest you try varying some of the IndexOptions parms. For example :

IndexOptions FancyIndexing NameWidth=*

or

IndexOptions FancyIndexing NameWidth=* SuppressHTMLPreamble

Hope this helps
