Header and footer toolbar missing

Hi,

We have a PC that is running Office 2000 Professional, for some reason when we want to add a Header or Footer to the page it no longer brings up the toolbar, when you try to customize the Toolbars to add the Header and Footer Toolbar it just won't let you add it.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office but this still doesn't fix the problem, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of suggestions:

Try going into Tools > Customize and do a Reset of the Toolbar (you'll only see the Header and Footer toolbar in the list if it's active)

Try deleting normal.dot
