No much, I am afraid; if ht epull ou/plug in of the IPU don't work, either you don't have anymore data on the HDU or the strucutre of the disk is gone or the IPU is faulty.
If you mount the disk on a MD running and make a check of the HDU by FIFTI, FICAP, FIDAP, FISCP, DUBDP and so on, what's going on?

Remot site, with no backup except for the HDU, one lim, made sure the cable between NIU and HDU is fine, unplugged both HDU and NIU, still teh same thing, restarted several times(2 pokes), still display 5010, unable to access the LIM is down.
