HDD does not want to setup OS

I am sorry if my post comes across this forum. My first time on here. I have a weird problem with my HDD and hope someone would have idea how to solve it.

I formate it my HDD Maxtor because there was 2 viruses that could not be remove it. I made a bootdisk management from this site>

and I formate my HDD. Each time I want to setup WINXP comes a message that there is a corrupted file and setup stops.

Any idea how to deal with this frustrating problem?

Have you tried running FDISK to remove all the exisiting partitions?
