HD disapeared on Partition Merge

HI,

i have a 240 HD with 3 parttions

9g
118g
60g

I have just merged 2 partitions 9g & 118g on partition magic 8.0.
After my computer restarted to apply the changes, the moving file sequnece stopped at 97% through with an error message and (hit and key to restart).

When i restarted the 118 & 60 where showing as merged and as unallocated space

i dont seem to be able to undo the changes, can anyone help ? i had some really important stuff on the drive

Think you'll need a data recovery app - and remind yourself to backup crucial data before running a potentially destructive operation like partition merge.
