I procrastinated when it came to setting up fault tolerance and a backup solution. Now, I pay the price for my gamble.

Anyway, I had a server. The OS (Windows 2000 AdvServer) was on one Hard drive (FAT32). The data was on the other hard drive: the DATA hard drive (NTFS). The Data drive is giving me the problem.

The OS drive is accessible as a second drive in another computer. I was able to get to the data on that drive.

The Data drive, however, was inaccessible as a second drive in the other computer. In Windows 2000 Professional, it shows as an unformatted drive.

How can I get access to the data on the NTFS Data drive?

Assuming the drive is being recognised and is spinning up (which it sounds like it is if it shows as unformatted drive in 2k pro), then best bet is probably data recovery app. There's a free one here (but may be no good with ntfs):-a shareware one here:-
have one (not free) & you can try Google.
Also, this forum has a number recommended by happy users who successfully recovered data - so you could try searching the site.
