Hi
I have a compaq presario, and up until a few weeks ago, my modem was working properly.
Now all of the sudden, whenever i try to dial, i get Error 680: There is no Dial Tone. Make sure your modem is connected to the phone line properly ... blah blah
Anyways, i have no clue what is causing this, because i know the phone line is connected and works properly.
When I remove the modem and reboot, It installs it again, along with the enumerator, but on the last install (the Rockwell HCF 56K Data Fax PCI modem) i get the error message: ERROR: File not found. It doesn't tell me what file, so i don't know what its looking for.
The modem default installs to com2 also . don't know if that has anything to do with it.
