HBA light test 1

How can I perform a light test with my HBA?
I want to see if its well and alive

You can run a cfgmgr and hold your hand at the port to see if light hits your hand. It is a good "poor mans" method. Never look directly into the port unless you want some retina damage.

i am sure you can do this via diag, not sure what menus

You need wrap plugs to fully test the HBA cards via diag.
