Hey there guys ..i got one problem which i need some help on

i want a modem to do the following ..i am not sure of how i can pass it these hayes commands ( neither do i know any unfortunately) maybe you can help me out.

1. I want the modem to ring twice and then pick up , then drop the call , meaning it charges the person who called it a normal voice call.

This has to be swift cause the moment it picks it drops the call immediately...so i wanted to know do any of you know the Hayes/AT commands i can send this modem to achieve what i want..!!

All help is highly appreciated!!

thanx in advance

S0=2 will have the modem answer after 2 rings.
S9=1 is the Carrier detect response time.
Define the length of time a signal is detected and qualified as a carrier. In tenths of a second.
S10=2 is the Lost carrier hang up delay.
S10 sets the length of time, in tenths of a second, that the modem waits before hanging up after a loss of carrier. This allows for a temporary carrier loss without causing the local modem to disconnect.
The actual interval the modem waits before disconnecting is the value in register S10 minus the value in register S9.
Therefore, the S10 value must be greater than the S9 value or else the modem disconnects before it recognizes the carrier.

Your init string would then be:
S0=2S9=1S10=2
If that doesn't work, try S0=2S9=1S10=1
Cheers,
Jim
