Hawking PN9239 Router and Altiga VPN Client

I have not been able to get my Altiga VPN client to work properly with my new Hawking PN9239 Router. I have tried putting my computer in the DMZ, I have tried disabling the firewall, neither of these things work. I always get the message "Remote peer not responding". If I take the router out of the mix everything connects just fine.

Anybody out there with any suggestions?
