having trouble setting up contivity vpn ??

Hi guys , I am having difficulty getting policies to work on the contivity 2700 ,using vpn & statefull f/w .
Blocking certain groups and protocols after a tunnel has been established is inconsistent and doesnt follow specific STOPS or REJECTS .Does anyone know where I can find documentation on the firewall policies ??
Been on nortel web site but not too helpfull.
Any assistance would be helpfull,
