Having trouble activating line 2 on my key system

Make sure your AMP line cable is pressed on tightly at the KSU.
Sometimes these built in line ports can go bad on the 8X24.
You could try using line 5. If that works, remove line 2 and rename line 5 to line 2 and relocate it to the line 2 position on the sets, unless you will need more lines in the future.
