I've created a database that multiple people use. The front end (which I've copied to multiple people's desktop) is linked to a centralized database that is simply tables.

I need to implement security on the front end database. So I set the security features through "Tools/Security/Etc etc..". However when I copied that database to someone else, there were no security! The security was localized to my PC is now implemented for any database I load up through MS Access.

I need the security to work on the database itself, not on my Access program.

Can someone assist me?

Thanks,
J.

As well as installing the FE on the clients PC, you will need to install the mdw file as well. Plus, you will have to place a shortcut to the FE on the users PC so that when they click it, Access will use that database and that mdw file.
