It took me a while, but I finally found out that the error messages I kept getting that said libstdc++.so.2.9.0. was missing. This, it turns out, is a bug in the gnu software. If you have this problem, you can download the file at:

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> on the filename that's in big, bold letters at the top center of the top chart. You should probably put this in your /usr/include directory.
Heather
jones_h@ligo-wa.caltech.edu
<a href= & Starfire Scifi/Fantasy/Anime
Sweet art, sweet writing, sweet site... brought to you by a sweet host. Actually, don't put it in your /usr/include directory... put it in your /export/apps1/local/lib. That should do the trick.
Heather
jones_h@ligo-wa.caltech.edu
<a href= & Starfire Scifi/Fantasy/Anime
Sweet art, sweet writing, sweet site... brought to you by a sweet host.
