I have a client that connects to my domain from the internet. they just upgraded their system to xp pro and now cannot connect.
when the enter in the rdp information then connect it shows that it is connecting to the correct ip address how ever it is filling in his domain information and not allowing to enter the domain information for my domain.

any thoughts on what needs to be fixed on xp?

thanks

When they open up RDC, click on the Options tab and enter domain info there.

Hope This Helps,

Good Luck!

I already tried that. with no success.

thanks

Per chance, are you using UPN's? ie:user@domain.com

If you use UPN's, the domain selection drop-down is greyed out.

Hope This Helps,

Good Luck!

Actually I just figured it out. it was the firewall running on XP Professional. even though the firewall was turned off on that pc I still had to create a rule to allow RDP connections.

Thanks for the help
