having problems receiving emails

I'm having problems with my outlook using office xp. The only time I can receive my emails (from within my company or outside my company) is by sending an email outside of my company. I usually send an email to my personal account, then all my emails pop up. It's like they are being stored on the server and can only be delivered to me when I send an email outside of my company.

Can anyone help??
