I don't know why this is happening, but I have a simple webpage developed without any tables. I am only using CSS.

You can see the demo at:

The problem is, when I try to select the text (only) just to highlight a portion of the text .. I can't seem to just select a few words or a portion of the text.

It highlights the images, etc. when I simply try to highlight and select some of the text.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this ... so a user would be able to highlight (certain) text on the page (easily) and without the images also being selected?

Any CSS experts out there that can help???

Thanks,
Gary

Don't absolutely position your #main. Absolute positioning makes IE experience problems with selecting text. My Mozilla has no problems however. But I do believe changing absolute positioning with relative will help here. Also, if not needed (like on your page) avoid the absolute positioning.

Thanks Vragabond. I'll give this a shot.
