Hi guy ,
I have a router ( Netgear wireless B ) .
I have 1 laptop and 1 desktop
After set up the wireless network :
1) I can connect my laptop to internet (use wireless G card - linksys)
2) but for my desktop I can see the wireless network available , but when I click connect , it can't . It just run ..run .. and then nothing happen . ( I use wireless B - linksys ) .
Note : My desktop is Dell Dimension 3000 , I think they use WinXp Sp2

So for my desktop problem , I have to press "Repair" everytime I connect to internet . Then the desktop can connect to internet. Everytime I close connection or turn off machine , when open , I have to do "repair" again .
Do you guy know what is problem and how to fix it ?
Thank in advance

Did you have the problem before SP2 ?

Hi ottawageek

Looks like we have a similar problem...

have you tried disbaling WEP security on the wireless hub/router (ive set up an access list as a basic security measure)?

Makes it better for me, just experimenting with the various channels on my router at the mo....
