Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a Modular ICS system version SP 30nCG19 NAT.

I currently have an old Startalk system auto answering after 4 rings. I'd like to get my system for when a caller presses '0' to reach the receptionist / operator I'd like the receptionist's phone at extension 21 to also ring at 35 when she is not out front and out and about the office.

Can this be done and how so?

You can do this by puting a answer dn button on 35.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Can you elaborate on how to do this? I'm more of a PC hardware person not so much as a telephone person but I'm getting there and learning alot.

Easy way would be when she gets up just hit feature 4 forward her ext to 35. When she returns hit feat # 4 and take it off forward. That is the easy way.

I agree. That would be easy but the thing is she's constantly about and would not remember to turn this feature on and off.

Would there be a FAQ to program hunting groups somewhere?

Go to Ext 35 in Terminals and sets, under line access, go to answer dn and add ext 21 to it. Now when her phone rings it will also ring at ext.35.

Great. This will really help. One question though. What does 'DN' stand for?

Thanks.
