Have problem with GDI.exe

I have a problem with my GDI.exe mostly when I want to open a Acrobat Reader file I get an error: Error loading GDI.exe. I tried many things but problem stays.

Can anyone help?

did you get the latest Acrobat and install the latest video card driver

i had the same problem on my engineering machine using 3DLabs Video cards, and the tech at 3DLabs knows it is their video causes that
