Well I have a remote server sitting and waiting to be configured, so I started, but
webmin says that there is no mysql admin
I checked using ssh. And yes there is mysql
(rpm -qa | grep mysql), but no mysqladmin (find / -name mysqladmin)!

What a hell is this, the Linux system is RedHat9.0.

THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!!

can you login mysql? If you can you may still issue all admin commands from MySQL prompt.

Life is what happens when you are making other plans.

You need to install the mysql-client rpm for the version of mysql server you installed. If you got it from the mysql website it'll be below the server link. i just had the same problem the other day! confused me for a little while too...
