Have data access page show records selectively

I am looking for a way to have a Data Access Page only allow management to scroll through confidential line items. Most of the items will not be confidential, but management has given me the special requirement to make sure certain confidential line items are hid from all but management. Is there an easy way to detect that a user is a manager and then give special view all privilidges to that user? For all others, certain confidential line items will need to be hidden (or not able to be seen when scrolling along on a data access page). Can anyone help?
