Have any clues on estimating Server Requirements for

I am considering building a server for SQL 2000 on WIN2K Advanced Server. My hardware platform is a Compaq Proliant 3000 500MHz with a Dual Channel 3200 Array Contoller.

I'm Looking for tips on estimating the drive and memory configurations.

I use SQL 7 and I would not dream of using it with anything less than 512MB, Dual processors and disks in RAID 5 config.

The amount of disk would have to be based on how much data will be stored.
