Have another ext answer call while reception is engage on the first call

Hi,

I recently inherited the responsibility for maintaining our phone system which is using the Mitel 3300. I'm not really quite familiar with this application, yet... still learning.

I was wondering if anyone can point to me where I can implement some sort of call forwarding so that when the main (reception line) is busy, the second call goes directly to another extension.

In the MCD (3300) you can create a DSS Key to receive more than 1 call.

It would be called Multicall key with the extension of the reception line.

or if you want create a ring group and have multiple extensions as members.

Call reroute on busy set permanently in call rerouting. it can be set to just that or you can reroute other scenarios no answer/busy/ internal/ external /DID etc. As long as it is not a console I think...
