have an issue with room status update

Room status when dialled from an analogue phone does not return confirmation tone.

Dial *#0 but get no confirmation tone

Apparently the hotel tested it two weeks ago and it worked.

Any ideas
 
it is questions like that without proper details get this kind of response.

What is the maid in romm code? *# or *#0

Is your system option set to lodging or PMS (107/108)

I have found out what the issue is, the instructions on the Mitel help files are incorrect, it advises you dial the room status access code wait for confirmation tone and then dial the maid status code.

This is incorrect, you actually dial the access code *#0 in my case and then immediately dial the maid status code.
You then get confirmation tone and teh status updates on the system.

Waldosworld, it was quite a simple question, thank you for your help on this, I am sure as a Vendor you have many satisfied customers with your level of understanding and your obvious committment to customer care!!

 
Bluebmw330, it was a simple question, however did you ever mention the system type?
 
Think the point that is trying to be made is that it is very difficult to lend assistance when someone doesn't mention what product it is they are seeking assistance on. If you check this forum you find requests for assistance on SX200's, SX2000's 3300's, 3000's and 5000's not to mention all the applications. Makes it a little difficult to guess although we do try.

Your level of frustration in having a problem is matched by Waldos frustration in seeing another question submitted without even basic information.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
