Have 8 extensions ring and conference together?

We've got an option 81C with CallPilot
I had a request to provide a means to, in an emergency, push a button and have 8 extensions ring simultaneously and conference together. I don't think it's possible, just using the PBX, but, my experience with this PBX is limited.

Not sure if will work but you might be able to put a hot dial key your phone calling a MCR DN on the other 8 extensions, and restrict the privacy in the CLS of all the phones. Another thing I have run into is when a analog phone and digital phone have a common DN, then the privacy is removed as well. Again, not sure if it will work, but worth a shot.

MCR when answered, will free the other 7 up for the next call to that number, not create a party line.

Key 0 SCR XXXX on all 8 sets. Cls POA on all 8 sets. On the other phone key Y hot d 4 XXXX

Should allow 1 button hot dial to the 8 sets, and the POA cls will allow any or all to access the call simultaneously.

That should work, no analogues, and limited to 6 parties with the multiple appearance SCR, however conferencing in other parties should work.

There is a feature called Group Call in the Software Feature Guide. You program the Group in LD 18 similar to a Speed Call List. You can have up to 20 phones in the group. Internal extension numbers only.

.. that works but it depends on all members answering.. it may have been improved but my customers did not care for it years ago because of that requirement..

it is the best way to go.. the work around (and there always is one) add a conf line to those stations.. simple scr key, making sure to add at least one analog set.. then give that line drng.. when the caller hear that ring they all answer and the are on a party line.. fastest way to set up an internal conf
