hi all,

I have an installation of 10g that is release # 10.2.0.1.0

Is there any way of determining whether this instance is the Standard edition or Enterprise ?

We installed from files on the drive - dont have access to the install CD itself.

Thanks, John

John,

Following is the banner that results from my connecting from an Oracle 9.2.0.7 client to an Oracle 9.2.0.4 Enterprise Edition Database:
Code:
SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.7.0 - Production on Wed Aug 22 11:05:43 2007

Copyright (c) 1982, 2002, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

Connected to:
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
JServer Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
Notice that I receive a confirmation of that information as a result of my SQL*Plus connection.

Let us know if you have additional questions.
