Hauppauge PVR-250 Won't Initiate

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and have a Hauppauge PVR-250 PCI card. The live TV, etc. works perfectly in Media Center but whenever I try to utilize the video capture feature in the PVR-25o I get an error message saying the software (ULead DVD Movie Factory 6 and Nero Vision) failed to initialize the Hauppauge PVR-250. Any thoughts on why it works fine with live TV under Vista Media Center but nothing else can access it? The PVR is said to be Vista capable, per the Hauppauge website and ULead DVD Movie Factory 6 is also supposed to be Vista compatible, as well as Nero 7.

Maybe it is Vista compatible, but the latest driver is dated 9/14/2005. So I wouldn't rule that out.

I've got a PVR-250 myself and haven't yet tried it under Vista.
