Hauppage Win-TV IRQ-Conflicts

My Hauppage TV-Card shows only black& white pictures,
with a huge stripe on the top. And every some seconds it freezes a picture and sets it into the backgroud of the film.
Is this an interrupt problem?
How can I solve it?
Any suggestions?


There was a time when all functioned well and then, i begun to experiment with suspend-modes(ACPI, Win98).

I installed win tv a while back and had a lot of problems with it, ended up reinstalling it, found out that unless you use the removal tool on the win tv cd rom (HCWCLEAR) you just get the same results over and over. You can try to uninstall and reinstall, the fact that it worked well at on time seems to say that it's not an IRQ problem but you can go to device manager and check for conflicts. William Pike

Hauppage also gives you fix-it utilities located in the install directory. Locate those, the icons looks like pocket protectors.

I would recommend getting on their website and downloading the latest drivers and software. Getting those to work correctly can sometimes be a real pain.
