IS-IT--Management
Hi,
One of our offices uses a standalone XP box with Net HASP loaded, to serve as the licensing server for two applications used in that office.
I have been told that it is always necessary for a username to be logged in on this pc so that the licensing server software can function.
In Services.msc I see two services that appear to support the HASP application:[ul]
[li]HASP License Manager (executable is C:\WINDOWS\system32\hasplms.exe -run)[/li]
[li]HASP Loader (executable is C:\WINDOWS\system32\nhsrvice.exe -service)[/li][/ul]
Nobody seems to know when this was installed; it's just "always been there."
I have been asked to make changes necessary so that this licensing software runs as a service, essentially, so that no one username has to remain logged in.
Sure could use your help, thanks.
