I have a switchboard which opens a report for the user to view. They then have a choice of printing the report (via the print icon in the toolbar) or closing it for further work on the data.

If the report has been printed then all records affected will have their printed flag set so they are not duplicated (this part I can do)

Is there a way of detecting whether a report has been printed or not?

Programmers do it one finger at a time!

You must be flagging the record by a yes/no field isn't it? If so it is possible to check by "DLookup"
