I am trying to use the ethernet connectionto program the Call pilot 100. Has any one had an sucess with it. I have tried to use the cros over cable stated in the manual and that did not work. I then hooked it directly up to me network and that still did not work. I even try to ping the address stated in the manual. Is there anything special to make this work? Or does it have to activated first or does the system have to initialized?

Thanks in advance, Richard S. McCranie

You need to set your laptop to be on the same subnet as the callpilot.

Use the following:

IP Address: 192.168.110.20
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

You can ignore gateway and DNS. After the above is saved you should be able to access

That did it. Thanks Richard S. McCranie
