I notice that has a free "home" version. Has anyone used any of the PREVIX versions?

I have downloaded the free version and will be evaluting it but I was alos interested in the Enterprise version (which also has a free eval version).

Tried it a few months ago after an invester in the company recommended it to me.

Did have some communication with the company regarding a couple of problems and these they addressed.

When news of the SP2 release date and what MS stated the updated security fixes would be, I mailed Previx to enquire how their programme would be affected by the new security updates.

They never did reply to my question.

Having looked at their download page I see it is different to when I tried it, but the basic programme remains as it was.

Do post back if you test the new home version and keep us updated with your opinion.

One problem with version 1.0 was the difficulty of uninstalling the programme if one did not exit the programme from the Task bar icon.

OK, I'll check it out.

How well did the older version work for you?

Not very impressed but they may have improved the latest version.

Did not like the fact that they would receive the alert or notification before the home user and then inform you.

It really needed testing on my spare system but I did not have the time.

If it works don't fix it! If it doesn't use a sledgehammer...
