Has anyone used DBI Technologies software?

I'm working on a VB.Net web form app which is to be a Contact Management software. I'm trying to use DBI Technologies, ctAlarm. It's an ActiveX controller I'm trying to use in my program as a way of implementing a reminder system.

Does anyone here have experience with this ActiveX?
Does anyone here have experience with using ActiveX in a web form?
I've tried going thru their documentation and examples, but I'm lost.
I've been able to put the control on my form, but I can't figure out what to do next.
