You are bound not to reveal the details of the test other than what Prometric or PMI say about it.
Their guidance is fine, the process is easy. However do take them seriously about showing up early and having your personal IDs all ready going in. Get some good sleep before hand. I think I used about 3.5 hours of the 4 hours allotted and I went through the exam questions twice.

hey daver - this is for the pm exam at prometric right? it's not the actual final pmp exam ...they have one that basically tests your basic knowledge of pm...not sure if you know what i'm talking about but ya..that's the one..i don't know the actual name of it though it's like $35 i believe
Uh, not sure what you're referencing. The "final" PMP exam is provided by Prometric and costs around $400 to take. That's what I'm talking about.
Given that the books I've referenced - and others - give you complete exams with solution answers, you should be able to self-test with a timer and duplicate the results with some reasonable confidence....
