Has anyone setup paging over a Trunk port on BCM400?

I have a site where the paging port has quit working. Is there anyway to get the paging to work over a trunk port instead of replacing the MSC?

yes. assign trunk to its own pool and give everyone access to that pool. when they dial the access code for that pool they'll get a tone from the PA system and then they dial what ever the PA system code is for paging.

what if it is just going strait to the amps?

Hello Bogen makes a device called UTI-1 or universal telephone interface that allows a trunk port to be connected directly to an amp.
