Has anyone seen this error before in Event Viewer?

The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C from line 44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemmobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.

I found this in the event viewer on a Dell that would hang on applying the computer settings during start up.

Any errors logged in the Event Viewer can be expanded by double clicking on the error line.

Take any event error I.D. number and search for it on these sites.

Visit Windows Update and make sure you are fully updated.
