I just started working on a project of transfering multiple ACT databases into one SQL server based database.

Has anyone done this kind of project?

I found a program Exporter for ACT, I am not sure yet if it is what I'm looking for so I don't know if I should purchase it for the project. Does this program exports everything?

Obviously I want to export all related data from ACT and then import it into SQL. I also want to keep all original field names including those that are custom.

Please gime me your thoughts. Thanks.

The only way I have seen it done is by getting a third party app that attaches to ACT, like Expert Pro and export it to an Access database.

Then you can install SQL Server and use Access's Upsizing wizard to create the data in SQL Server.

Thanks

Yes you're right, after 2 days of searching it seems to me there is no other alternative. And export pro is pretty good if it really does what their demo file shows. Thanks for the comment.
