Has anyone ever had a file named winupdate32a.exe on their system.

I have been wrestling with a trojan problem for a week now. With Ad-Aware, Spy-bot and Hijack this, I have tried to resolve this problem with no avail. Today I have a breakthru. I would a hidden system file called winupdate32.exe that was running as a service and would download the trojan as soon as the computer was connected to the internet. I searched all over the internet and could not find anything about it. If anyone is familiar with this, could you let me know.

You can download the McAfee Stinger from

and that should remove the virus for you.
