I installed the Office2000 SR-1 patch on my development machine. Now my Wise installer gives me the message: Incorrect version of file msvcrt.dll. Recommend installation of VB6 Sp4 followed by installation of MDAC 2.50.4403.9

I have 50 laptops running Office2000 with my program accessing an Access97 database. Now I'm not sure whether I'm going to have to install SR-1 on all of the laptops.

Anyone came across this? Help! I'm thinking of un-installing Office2000 and reinstalling it to get rid of SR-1.

I installed the Office2000 SR-1 patch on my development machine.
I use the Wise installer to make all of my VB installs. When I try to compile my installs now, my Wise installer gives me the message: Incorrect version of file msvcrt.dll. Recommend installation of VB6 Sp4 followed by installation of MDAC 2.50.4403.9

No.
I don't know what it would do to my installation updates. I don't want to have to install MDAC on all of the laptops in the field that is running my program.
My program on their laptops use an Access 97 database on the back end.
I don't have the time to convert them to Access 2000 yet.
