Has anybody worked with Solsoft NSM free proxy server?

Hello,
I have to implement a proxy solution and I found this free proxy Solsoft NSM. Does anybody experimented with it? Could you give me some feedback?
I also welcome suggestions for a good proxy server which allows to ask for username/password for each internet acces request from an internal user.
