Our company is currently utilizing IIS for our web pages and have come across some harrowing security issues (as most of you probably know). We're considering using Apache on a Windows platform, since you can utilize php, jsp, asp, etc. on it. Has anybody else implemented it on their systems? Is it very secure? How well does it work with Windows? Are there any others that would work better?

I have trialled Apache running under Windows, and I found it very good. My only grumbles with it was the fact that I have grown up programming in Windows and found it very difficult to adapt to the unix style management. Apart from that with the add-ons it was just as functional as IIS.

Is Apache a more secure and stable solution? What other advantages or disadvantages have you discovered?
