Can anyone tell me how to loopback a 4 wire 56k ckt?
I think you have to tie the two transmits together and tie the two recieves together but am not sure....any help would be appreciated.

What are you doing this for ,Then maybe an answer would be eaisier to find .If its 56k then I guess its analouge?

Easiest way to make a loopback for almost any circuit is to take a jack and bridge 1 length of cross connect over the blue, orange, green, brown pairs. When all pairs are jumpered, you'll get your loopback.

b/w, o/w, g/w, b/w all tied together.
w/b, w/o, w/g, w/b all tied together. -CL

1. Switched 56K service is digital.
2. Transmit goes to receive to loopback a signal.
3. Chances are better for you if you use the loopback feature of the terminating hardware which receives this circuit at your location.
