Hardware Tech in Edinburgh?

Does anyone know a competent hardware technician in Edinburgh, Scotland?
My sister's late G3 iMac has a hard disc problem that software tools fail to solve and I live on the other end of the U.K so cannot help effectively.
Any help gratefully accepted,
